Attunga Cottage Children’s Centre is a 29 place Privately owned and operated childcare service operated located on the grounds of Peakhurst Public School. The Centre is licensed by the Department of Community Services and has been accredited by the National Childcare Accreditation Council.

The Centre consists of a 29 place Long Day Care and Preschool Service for children 3 years to 5 years of age and a Before and After School Care Service for children attending Peakhurst Public School.

The aim of the Centre is to provide a quality service that meets the needs of the families in our community. It is our policy to work side by side with parents in the care and education of their children at a most important stage of their development i.e.. the early years. We welcome parent participation and involvement in the Centre.

The Centre is also involved in the Quality Assurance Accreditation system and is currently accredited at High Quality in all seven areas. The Long Day Care and OOSH Centre is open from 7.30am to 5.45pm, Monday to Friday. Preschool operates between 9:00am and 3:15pm each day. The centre is open for forty eight weeks  per year, closing for approximately four weeks over the Christmas/New Year period, and on public holidays.
